Lady of the 90s: Lauren Alaina

Georgia native Lauren Alaina became America’s Sweetheart while competing on Season 10 of American Idol. After placing second on the show, Lauren released her debut album Wildflower – an album that hit #1 on the charts.

Even with a #1 debut album in 2011, Lauren had a breakout year in 2017. She released her critically-acclaimed sophomore album Road Less Traveled, and earned her first #1 single with its’ title track. Not to mention she earned a second #1 single with her childhood friend Kane Brown on the track What Ifs. As for her awards? CMT Breakthrough Video in 2017 and CMT Collaborative Video + ACM New Female Vocalist in 2018. Plus this powerful female vocalist has earned CMA, Teen Choice and Radio Disney Music nominations.

When she’s not slaying it on stage, Lauren keeps her fans up to date on social. She’s the queen of puns and we are here for it.
