Artists You Love: Tracy Lawrence

When Tracy Lawrence made the move from Arkansas to Nashville, he had a guitar and $700. Fast-forward nearly three decades, and he now has 13 million albums sold, 18 #1 singles including a debut single that hit the top of the charts, “Sticks and Stones,” and multiple awards.

In January 2015 Lawrence added Radio Host to his resume with the launch of “Honky Tonkin’ with Tracy Lawrence.” It’s a three-hour weekly syndicated program that focuses on 80s, 90s and early 2000s country. “I just felt there was such a void in the market because there really wasn’t anybody focusing on the music from my era,” Lawrence explains.

Lawrence‘s latest album, GOOD OLE DAYS, is a mix of his biggest hits re-recorded with the genre’s newest superstars and newcomers, including Country Fest 2019 artists Luke Bryan and Justin Moore. The inspiration? Lawrence felt like it was time to combine the nostalgia of his era of music with today.
