Country Fest Artists Top Billboard Chart
Three Country Fest artists are celebrating this week’s stay within top five on this week’s Billboard Top Country Albums chart. We’re wondering if it’s appropriate to celebrate this at today’s Happy Hour. Just kidding, it’s always appropriate.
Rearview Town debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart in April, marking his fourth consecutive chart entry to hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Jason became the second country act to have four consecutive studio releases on top, alongside Rascal Flatts.
Luke Combs has spent 49 weeks on the chart with This One’s For You, jumping up to No. 2 from 5—this week’s greatest gain. We’re looking forward to his performance on Saturday, especially the hits off this album, including “Hurricane,” When It Rains It Pours,” and “One Number Away.”
Combs’ album, released in June of 2017, was nominated for the Best Country Album for the 2018 Billboard Music Awards. Combs announced in April that he will release a deluxe album, This One’s For You Too, on June 1. The deluxe album will feature five brand new songs.
Of course, Kane Brown’s self-titled album remains at No. 4, holding strong to the Billboard chart for 75 weeks. Kane’s Pit Passes just met the Sold Out mark this week, and we can bet that fans will be packed around the stage to see him perform Country Fest on Thursday, June 21.
Kane set the Guinness World Record for topping all five of the US Country Music charts at the same time, including Top Country Albums for Kane Brown Deluxe Edition and Country Digital Song Sales with “Heaven.” Kane also topped Country Airplay, Hot Country Songs and Country Streaming Songs with “What Ifs” featuring his childhood friend Lauren Alaina. Kane became the first country act to achieve this accomplishment.
