Country Fest Artists Move Up in Billboard’s Chart
Country Fest performing artist Russell Dickerson has risen to the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart–but he’s not the only Country Fest artist to make the list this week.
Dickerson’s debut hit, “Yours,” has assisted with this accomplishment, as the song reaches No. 6 on the Hot Country Songs chart. He’s the fourth country act to receive this honor, following Midland, Carly Pearce, and LANCO.
Country Fest Artists are Ones to Watch
With a group of five Country Fest artists (all are on fire) not only making Billboard’s chart, it seems as if the Country Fest 2018 lineup will be ablaze by June.
Walker Hayes moves up the Emerging Artists chart to No. 3 with the help of his hit, “You Broke Up With Me.” Devin Dawson, whose new album Dark Horse is being released Jan. 19, moves up to No. 6. Other Country Fest artists on this chart include High Valley at No. 14 and Dylan Scott at No. 19.

More about Billboard‘s Emerging Artists chart
Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart measures artist activity the same way as it does other Billboard charts. The Billboard Artist 100, although excluding artists who have reached inside the top 25 on Hot 100 or Billboard 200 charts. Also, artists whose albums have deemed “Top” rankings or artists who have claimed two or more top 10s on Billboard’s “Hot” genre chart are omitted from the “emerging artist” qualification.
